Hi everybody, I'm Jeff Baylis from AGronomic IQ, and today I want to talk to you about evaporative cooling. Evaporative cooling occurs when your plants transpire water into the air, and it changes from liquid to gas, and creates a net cooling effect in your space. This cooling effect is going to change depending on what types of plants you have, how mature they are, how many plants you have, and how much you're watering them.
These are really important variables to consider when you're sizing your HVAC, because that load is going to change throughout your entire grow. At times, it can be so extreme that even your supplier temperature needs to be hotter than your room.
